Technology in the classroom

I am familiar with technology because I grew up in the technology generation, but I have kind of lost touch with the new kinds of technology that has come out.  I would like to become more familar with different kinds of technology.  I am sure that children in my future classes with know more than me, but I would like to be able to help the children that have not had the chance to learn about technology and how to use it.
